This is your introduction to Sandtray. We review history, necessary tools, the protocol to witness a sandtray and practice in dyads. You take on the role of builder and witness.

Describe history of sandtray play therapy.

Discuss necessary sandtray tools in your play therapy kit including minitures that represent the different social locations of builders.

Describe the sandtray witnessing protocol in Play Therapy including how to document sandtrays.

Experience building world while being witnessed by another in sandtray play therapy.

Practice witnessing sandtrays using this play therapy protocol

Discuss polyvagal therapy and how this relates to sandtray practice and experience in play therapy.
